Now to work out what to do with the large huge carrier bag full of windfall apples that Mrs NextDoor has just dropped off.....thank you Mary;-)
EDIT :: I'm thinking this for about half of them, given that I came home with rather a lot of red chillies from the family high tea last Saturday (my next sis down 'overbought' just before jetting off to parts foreign ;-) ) and I happen to have a couple of red peppers JUST starting to develop wrinkles.....so all I need is some sugar and some more onions!
