Very Wet Walking

Our 'Strolling' group set off again, this month walking from New Haven to Cramond Island (and back)in the pouring rain.  We actually had a good time taking in The Granton Castle Walled Garden which was unfortunately the wettest part of the day. We took shelter at lunch time at The Boardwalk Beach Café, an unusual place but they gave us blankets and the best coffee.  The tide was coming in fast so the walk to the island was speedy, and sadly The Cramond Inn was shut!

We are having a quiet, warm and dry evening in now.
