Autumn Afternoon

We met Mr and Mrs Puke for coffee this morning and then went to IKEA to have a look at rugs for our sitting room. When we came out of IKEA someone nearly reversed into Mary at great speed and gesticulated at her because she was walking in a car park and then we walked towards Sainsbury’s and a car nearly knocked Mark down - again driving really fast. The driver wound down his window and shouted at Mark and then swore repeatedly at me! We had a restorative cup of tea and went back home - at least in Peebles people are too sleepy to be rude to us :-)
