Leaving on a jet plane...

It was throwing it down in Edinburgh today!

Rugby in the morning, then home for lunch and last minute preparations.

Off we go to Croatia! Woohoo 'summer' holidays!

Last year's October holiday commenced with our flight being delayed until 3am. Urgh.

Today the travel couldn't have gone better. Just enough time at the airport for half an hour in Caffe Nero and picking up of provisions, then on to the plane. Left on time, arrived in under three hours. Watched some ninja turtles and Lightening McQueen. Ate our snacks. At the other end just a brief wait for passports and bags.

Onto the transfer, all on the bus going to our hotel so no stops. 45 mins or so and we were there.

Of course that meant a while for check in, but they have a huge climbing net for kids in reception and they were making balloon swords for all that wanted one. CyclopsJnr happily rampaged so that made that easy.

Room looks great and downstairs they had put on a cold buffet for our busload which exceeded our expectations including continental meats and cheeses, a selection of fresh bread rolls of many kinds, and biscuits and pastries.

CyclopsJnr went to bed VERY late. 11pm here (10pm at home) but he has been no trouble today so we're all feeling chill. And TIRED!
