The hedgerow was looking abundant - anyone would think it was late summer rather than mid October.
Did masses of gardening today. I had a border in my front garden with very mature shrubs which hadn't really been tended for about 8 years. They had all mingled and self rooted and it generally looked a mess. It has now been considerably thinned although I am slightly worried that I have gone too far. Hopefully it will all flourish in the spring.
If the weather holds out tomorrow I will plant some daffs in there.
