Fangorn

The old pine tree just stopped me on my tracks during our (wife and me) Saturday walk. I suddenly realised how beautiful its bark was, and how many years it must have taken to create this wonderful Nature's work of art with its subtle nuances and shades of brown, and the beautiful, uneven, yet perfect mosaic. Treebeard's "hide/skin" could have looked like this.

Today we ferried all our Christmas decorations from our basement locker (well it is at least 2x3 m and 2.5 m high so quite a big for a locker) to the aprtment, and will put them up during the weekend. My wife is a real Christmas enthusiast :-)
