French Macarons

We've been watching baking shows for several years, and each time someone makes french macarons, Sugar asks if we can try to make some.  It never seemed like a good time, until Sunday.  We gave it our very first go...and they turned out pretty good.  We learned some stuff along the way, and they are quite time consuming, but Sugar said they were Delicious!  I took one tiny bite, as I'm not eating sugar due to inflammation in my wrists.  

We wrapped up the weekend with some cooking for the week, and a few more shows to get allllllllllllllllll caught up.
