We were going to go to the cinema using our Lloyds bank cinema vouchers which we've some for a few years now. Unfortunately they have changed them to Cineworld from Vue. Tom put his bah humbug face on and decided we'd not go! Just as well Will shall b able to use them in Newcastle.

We went for a drive instead. Through a lot of surface flood water in the torrential rain to a little gallery in the middle of no where called the Upfront Gallery. It also has a theatre and Cafe. We had a tasty lunch and went off to admire the art work of local artists.

This evening Carlisle is on flood alert again. It won't affect us directly but I do have friends who have been flooded twice and I know they are always on tenterhooks when it rains hard over a period of time - fingers crossed.
