Looking towards Bleaklow
From Woodhead Road Glossop - the view towards Bleaklow
on a Cloudy and wet Sunday morning.
Quite refreshing after a very strange night's sleep .... I had watched The Day The Earth Caught Fire on Talking Pictures TV - still a compelling watch after all these years and Edward Judd and Leo McKearn utterly believeable as the Daily Express men chasing the true story.
I followed this an hour or two later by listening to a very strange Radio Drama - When the Pips Stopped
https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p06nkqcn/p06nknfq
describes it as A poetic and playful love song to Radio 4 unfortunately I found it far more unsettling than that . Maybe it was the combination of the film and play or that both used the phrase "Knocked the world off its Axis" .
I was quite glad to still find Radio4 in the morning.
