Finlay’s Hot Chocolate

The Elgin family were down for part of the October school holiday to see the new V&A in Dundee and visit some of their siblings and cousins in Glasgow and Rannoch.

In between destinations they came to the Dower House this morning and we all went out for a coffee to Söderberg where the making of pizzas on the open fire proved a great entertainment as did the extensive selection of buns and cakes.
I knew that if I went without cake and bided my time, someone would have bitten off more than they could chew and I would be the lucky recipient, and so it was- an extremely chocolatey piece of cake bequeathed by Anna.

Finlay’s hot chocolate provided the only blip of the visit as I forgot to get a group photo so busy were we chatting.
