Just married

As soon as the fog lifted we went out for a rowing session and my wife discovered a white balloon on the lake. We rowed over and fished it out. There was a postcard from a wedding in Landshut attached (by car some 350 km from us in Germany, northeast from Munich), with the address of the happy couple and further congratulations from a family which was invited to the party. Our idea was to send the card back, but my idea to get a nice blip for today has totally crossed our plan.

I let the balloon into the water again to take a picture and the totally soaked card came loose and began to sink in the water. We tried to save it, but we couldn't. We had to watch how it disappeared in the water. A bit sadly we continued our rowing and congratulate the unknown wedding couple via this blip.
