YHA Langdale Waterfall

Despite the rain from Storm Callum we set off from the Youth Hostel to walk down into Elterwater village. Our first obstacle was this temporary waterfall running down the garden steps. Plenty of surface water as we walked and we truly earned our shared chips at the Britannia pub! We got even wetter walking back and were glad of: a drying room for coats and boots; a freshly lit stove; hot chocolate.
