North House an Melby House

A fine gentle breeze today, mostly cloudy this morning, but the skies cleared and ended a sunny day.  Clear skies tonight. 

A lazy start to the day, but I finally got up and going after breakfast. I met up with friend Julie after lunch, and we headed out west for a run with the dogs.  A lazy evening at home, feet up with a movie or two.

We headed out west in the car, and first stop was at the Weisdale shop for fuel.  Next stop was at Sandness hall, and walked to Norby beach.  A collie tagged along, Sammy and Keba had great fun charging about the beach with their new friend.  With the fine day, we headed all over Sandness for a walk, and along the banks too.  As we came down to Melby, we passed by these lovely old houses, first one is North House, with the big Melby House behind.
