Big Bend sunset

The drive out from SA takes forever . Alright about 8 hours with any stops, 6.5 if you don't stop, supposedly , though that is only because the speed limit is a hair raising 80. Which bothers my sister not at all.
This was taken from the little house we stayed at for the 2 days we were there. That is an ocotillo with the sunset behind it.
The extracare some West Texas scenery ; there really isn't much  out there except for huge cattle ( mostly) ranches. The other extra is my sister in the helicopter she flies in -she's a flight paramedic. Helicopters are often called in out here to get  seriously injured or sick people to hospitals faster than an ambulance could do to the distances  involved .
