Woke up to heavy rain that continued all day - not nice. Stopped at loch Keven larder for breakfast and allok around the shop, and also at a cashmere outlet where I bout a lovely cosy royal blue dress. Arrived in Dundee - ended up parking in Tesco and walking along dual carriage way to new V. And A. Arrived wet and a bit chilly. Lovely building/ lots of nice wood used in interesting ways and fab Scottish design gallery. Really busy / probably cos hadn't been open long and lots of people wanted to get out of the rain. We thought shop and cafe needed to be bigger though. Then drove to aberfeldy where we had a look around the shops, settled into out very nice hotel and had tea and cake at the lovely Mill. Out for dinner at Grantully Hotel. Was expecting to be st ballintaggart farm but there was confusion over three sites. Delicious meal and free fizz though so no worries!
