I was out for an early walk but sunrise was later than I thought. Result was no photos at Waterhead and it was just getting light as I got home.

It seemed a good morning to get various garden jobs done and stuff taken to the recycling site. Then lunch, after which I popped to the Co-op. A day for meeting people on the street, a few of whom were keen to chat. That was fine before I bought the ice cream! 

After a phone call to arrange an MOT and the outstanding brake job on my car I walked into the kitchen and found my husband with his jacket and shoes on. 'Lets go to Grasmere for a coffee' said he, so we did. Walking across the garden centre car park (where I spotted this tree) I asked if he had any money. He didn't. Fortunately I had.
