Canada geese over the bosque

It was dribbling snow plus being windy and cold in Albuquerque. Sadly there was very little moisture. The dog, the baby and I went for a long walk, well too long as I overestimated the time it would take to get back and we upset the baby's mama. The baby and I both had bright red noses. The dog didn't seem to notice.

These geese took off and flew overhead. The canadas are still around, but I haven't seen any snow geese or cranes for awhile.

Today, I give thanks for the day I was given, for warm jackets and baby buntings and all things feathered, especially geese.
