Astley Hall and Park is cared for by Chorley Council, it is a credit to them.
The park is an area of 43.75 hectares, containing ancient woodland, a large open recreation area, play areas for children plus an adventure playground. 
A building with small animals, birds and reptiles is a nice feature for children and adults alike.
There is a cafe, museum, art gallery and a walled garden adjacent to the historic Hall.
