Sun on the lighthouse
I started off the day with a 4.25km run and KK came with me in his bid to keep fit for football. He can easily out run me but maybe if he starts coming with me regularly he will get a taste for it.
I then spent a large amount of time digging in the garden to remove a herbaceous plant, I think it's an Inula, which has taken over and covers around 4sq m. Not easy to remove as the roots form such a mat so I am pleased with removing this first patch. I took this shot when I went for a small walk around the village on a blip hunt, it's good to see the lighthouse in the sun with the blue sky.
Chickens cleaned out and moved inside the tunnel to their winter quarters, they will be warm and dry in there.
I wasn't working today so didn't drive my usual commute. I later learned there was a bad accident on the road at about the time and place I would have been this morning, one woman killed. I feel thankful today
