Benched

The view from Männlichen, above Wengen.

Took the cable car up, then after a brief hike to the summit, we walked along a nice easy flat path to Kleine Scheidegg. Stopped for some food and then started to walk a bit more but the wind howling down off the mountains was ferocious. So we turned back and caught the train back down.

In a previous life I would never have countenanced the thought of cheating and using transport to save a hike. But in those days I still had knees. These days it seems like a brilliant idea.
