Piazza Duomo
We've been dodging rain showers very successfully today, it's not cold - just showery.
On the opposite side of this piazza as you might guess from the name is the duomo - a magnificent baroque structure which was originally a Greek doric temple, and since 2005 has been the central reason that the entire city of Syracuse has been listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. I did blip the duomo using the 24-70 but I couldn't get enough of it in the frame so I hope to go back and try again with the 16-35 and see if I can do a better job.
Thank you for visiting my journal and for all the lovely comments, stars and Hrts.
