Forwards...

Today we left the UK for the penultimate run. At breakfast friends came round to help us move the heavy things like the cooker, washing machine and the fridge-freezer, and then while I was working my wife loaded lots of other things, and then after work we filled the van to the brim and set off for France. We had hoped that after this load we could pop the left overs in the car, but it's quite clear as we left the house that there is still a van load at home.

We went back to the ferry terminal and amused ourselves with the security people asking is there anything sharp in the van, to which I answered, of course there is every kitchen knife in the house in there - somewhere... They didn't want to bother looking, which is good as it would have been very annoying to unpack and repack...

Today's (back) blip is yet another shot of the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth, which we have seen rather a lot of recently... I've gone for this closer shot today, there is a bit of digital noise, but I think it works okay.
