Monday: Musqueam Territory

I had a day off today - weather was lovely and it was great just to catch up with ourselves a little.  As the weather was glorious we went for a walk down to the river.  Part of that took us through the Musqueam First Nations' Territory which is pretty close to our house.  It's a Reserve and feels very different to the rest of the (non-Reserve) neighbourhood.

Today was a bit of a wildlife day.  As we walked down to the river a Wile E. Coyote emerged from the bushes ahead of us.  And this afternoon, while we were at home, a raccoon scaled the banisters on to our deck stairs, and was attempting to tightrope walk the bannister.  We managed to send him on this way but took the precaution of keeping Barney in for a while.
