Hubert's book

As we had a very nice coffee and lunch in Costa in Ross on Wye today, an old chap on the table next to us had a little trouble putting his coat on as he rose to leave. Emma helped him, and conversation was struck up. Hubert told us he was 95 years young, and had written a book of his life around the Forest of Dean, and other lifetime adventures, and pulled out a copy from his back pack to show us. He was fascinating, gentle, friendly, and 'humble'. What a fine man.
Just goes to show what great characters and stories lie behind those old faces we see every day...
