"You need Hands to organise a Kiltwalk"
"You need Hands" was a hit many years ago for Max Bygraves . . . if you don't know who he is Google him or ask your parents.
In Max's song he said "You need hands to hold someone you care for" which is true and don't ever let that care go, however it's also the case The Kiltwalk need hands to help us organise, contribute, plan and execute so today's picture is of some of those helping hands.
So it may only be November and most people are thinking of Christmas however back here in Kiltwalkland we are busily planning for 2013 which is going to be a huge step change for us.
There are going to be more events than before, more walkers than before and just in case you haven't heard, we're trying to raise a million pounds for Scotland's Children.
Our more than happy helpers are our Charity Partners who from left to right are Jon 'the Crème Egg' from CHAS, Kirsten from Yorkhill Children Foundation, Mhairi and Richard 'the Hands' from CLIC Sargent and finally Clare from Loch Lomond Shores. The guy who is hidden is of course Carey, however most of those who visit these parts then you'll ken him already and as usual I'm the guy hiding behind the camera, which is probably best.
The tea was great, the conversation and discussion inspiring and it also gave me a great excuse to try out my new Oor Wullie Notebook, which if you're looking for a good, cheap Xmas pressie for someone are £6 from Dobbies Garden Centre, or £3 from Amazon, so guess where I got mine :-)
