La Pluie

I love the sculptures and illustrations of Belgian artist Jean-Michel Folon  (1934-2005).

A visionary artist, surreal and yet not abstract and I really appreciate his whimsical style too.  His illustrations are beautiful and I would love to have a lithography of one of his works.

This statue is called "La Pluie" (rain). Don't you love his umbrella, which is actually a fountain? A perfect sense of humour!  This sculpture is in Ouchy by the lake, in front of the Olympic Museum.
