Fairy Clock - Taraxacum officinale Seedhead

A gardening day  -  the Local Council only makes two more Garden Waste collections before they stop until February 2019!  This seedhead went straight into the bin after blipping  -  I read that a single Dandelion plant can produce 5,000 seeds a year, so not really welcome in my garden despite its amazing medicinal properties. More fascinating facts on Dandelions HERE. For instance, it was believed that when you blew on a Dandelion seedhead the number of seeds that remained was the number of children you would bear!  BEST VIEWED IN LARGE!
