Tobacco flower

Tobacco used to be grown in the Vega de Granada until some years ago. Now it is difficult to see the huge plants of tobacco which used to fill the fields near Granada. You could even feel the smell of tobacco coming from the fields or from the tobacco drying houses in the city then.

Now some farmers still grow one or two of these plants in their orchards because they say they are a good way of fighting pests and insects because of their strong smell.
I guess you had never seen the flowers of the tobacco plant!
