Better late than never!

Having soaked the dried fruit in an aromatic mix of brandy and whiskey, I baked our Christmas cake today, albeit a week after Stir-up Sunday!
But I think a month is probably long enough for the flavours to mingle - and plenty of time to "feed" the cake with some more brandy!
