Pink Skies at Night

A breezy morning and dry, but the gales soon picked up and brought showers.  Still windy tonight, thankfully the showers eased away.

A day working on the museum desk, and a steady flow of visitors.  There was also various set ups to sort for tomorrow.  I met up with mam at lunchtime for a cuppa.  A mad dash after tea, and headed down to the pub for my shift.  Finished early and headed out with Sammy.  Feet up for the night now. 

The dull and cloudy day wasn't too inspiring, so I was glad to see some light as sunset approached.  Unfortunately the hill blocks most of the sunset in Scalloway, giving us more shelter instead, but tonight most of the colour was in the east, with this pinks over the village.  Sunset at 6pm now, darkness is taking over.  This is looking down Main Street, Scalloway.
