Experimenting

Inevitably when I'm trying to understand something about how a camera works in poor light, I wind up pointing it out of the study window after dark.

I recently acquired a Nikon V1. All the controls of a DSLR and the ability to swap lenses (and use standard 'real' Nikon lenses), but a very small sensor. Better than I expected in low light.

This image is a long exposure at ISO100 - and posted simply because I like the blur of the swaying salix.
