WENT SHOPPING
But only for food as the cupboard was bare after our lengthy holiday.
The town car park was a sea of dribbling men and boys, though best not to dribble on the paintwork. I chose the deep orange one, and G chose the green fluorescent model, though goodness knows how you get into them. Or out for that matter. The lucky owners were having a day out driving through the Yorkshire Dales, so I hope they didn't meet too many gigantic tractors on our narrow country lanes, lined with scratchy hedgerows. And then there's the cow muck when you are that low down ……..
But to bring me back to earth I rang about the increased annual insurance on my little car, and wangled a discount. Oh, yes.
78 pence
