Mice again

I think this is a Mahonia (I may be wrong) and all I can say is that it must flourish on neglect, as it seems to thrive in our garden whilst being completely ignored. 

We had a worry yesterday when our boiler wouldn't fire up. It's an old boiler and you always think - is this it!! The engineer arrived today and fixed it - relief. And the culprit once again was a mouse. The boiler is in the garage and the little field mice seem to be able to get in through the tiniest crack. Then they get shredded when the fan starts up and their bits clog the system. It has happened before - several times.
