Fountain of Youth

Found out there was an inter schools cross country on at a nearby park this afternoon and Verity was running.
After eating the soup l made yesterday we went over the moors and into the next valley.
Got there in good time and enjoyed a walk around before the races started.
Great to see young people using so much positive energy.
Everything was looking very autumnal on a sunny afternoon and l was once again impressed by the upkeep of the park.
Well done to Bradford.
The fountain was flowering freely and l’ve put another pic into extras along with a collage of Vee.
After the race we enjoyed lemon and poppyseed scones with lemon curd and clotted cream and blackberry frangipani along with coffee in the beautiful conservatory.
Sensible eating will be resumed tomorrow
