Cleethorpes Pier

Wednesday is one of the days I work in Grimsby at the moment. I finish at 11.30 so sis decided to drive out to meet me in Cleethorpes. We had lunch at Papas on the pier and then had a walk.
The weather was glorious but I really liked the monochrome effect here.

On the way home we stopped of in Kirton in Lindsey where the members of the community have knitted thousands of poppies, attached them to some camouflaged netting and hung from St Andrews church tower. Looked amazing and what a way for us to remember those who lost their lives in war.
