Erebus book launch at the RGS

After a day of teaching, I caught a train down to London, and headed to South Kensington. The V&A was unfortunately closed quite early, and so to a pub for a pre-talk drink. Met up with a colleague, and in for the book launch event with Michael Palin. He was talking about his new book: 'Erebus', which tells the story of the ship which was lost in the Arctic over a century ago. All those attending got a signed copy, and I read the first 100 pages or so on the return train journey home.
