Put a frilly pinny over your dress, your pretty beads around your neck and make sure your make-up and hair are perfect. Only then will you be ready to damp down the laundry, pick up the heavy new electric iron and smooth away the wrinkles.....I finished my ironing but when I looked in the mirror, the wrinkles were still there ! When I bought my mum an electric iron to save her using her old-fashioned flat irons, she didn't like it, so she cut off the wire and heated it on the gas !
