Bright lights of London

Today mummy, daddy and cam all wrapped up nice a warm, packed the nappy bag full of bottles, milk powder, purées and other paraphernalia and headed of to the bright lights of London. It was a miserable day but cam was in a great mood and was on his best behaviour all day. We headed to Oxford street and were surprised to find it was a traffic free day and we could walk around with the pram without hitting too many tourists (for future reference, prams make great battering rams when tourists refuse to move). Cam had his first visit to the famous Hamley's toy shop, it was packed to the rafters with people doing their Christmas shopping but cam drank in the experience, played with some teddy bears and for being such a good boy was bought a present.
As darkness fell the Oxford street/ Regent street lights became more dramatic and cam loved looking at them from the comfort of his pram and made lots of cooing noises to show his appreciation for the lovely decorations (although mummy didn't understand why there were marmite themed lights??).
Little cam did great on such a stimulating, busy and exciting day and even had smiles for all the passengers on the train on the way home and the Cameron reflection in the window.
I think this maybe the start of a new family tradition!
