A country front porch...

Dear Diary,

I have always loved this house which I drive by on occasion.  Today, the pumpkins all lined up along the edge of the front porch made me stop for a photograph.  The early morning light was very nice too.  This house is almost stark in its simplicity.  There is a decided Shaker feel to it I've always thought.  But what really caught my eye on this occasion is that patch of blue sky you can see through the screened porch.  What a nice contrast to the orange pumpkins.
