Squash wars ... meet Jabba the squash!!

A lovely Autumnal day today and thankfully feeling better so managed a short amble round RHS Hyde Hall with my parents. So much colour to see and also a rather fabulous arrangement of squashes that have been grown by the gardeners there, including this beast which over the weekend became the new UK record heavy squash at 1085.8lb, beating the old 12 year old record by  95lb! That's a lot of squash to cook with!
