Two buildings
The red sandstone building 1892 is the former Paisley post office now a Wetherspoons appropriately called "The Last Post". On the right is part of Gilmour Street station 1840 on an ashlar viaduct carrying the four busy Glasgow tracks. It has castellations and turrets like its long demolished neighbour County Buildings and Jail 1820. The latter was replaced in 1968 by a vulgar concrete development of shops Piazza and offices
