it's a start

-got the outside Christmas lights up yesterday, but it seems to still need something out there...will probably decorate inside next weekend, don't want to be tired of it all by Christmas.
when my 5 sisters and brothers and I were young, my parents used to wait until we were asleep Christmas Eve to bring in the tree, decorate it, and put out the gifts. Christmas morning was so special! we were allowed to open our stockings hung on the upstairs landing to keep us busy until they woke up, but we couldn't go downstairs :)
..I am looking forward to our 2 yr. old grandaughter's reaction when she sees the lights :)
