Do the dishes to do the dishes....

A friend told me this once: "Do the dishes to do the dishes." Meaning, instead of doing dishes begrudgingly, focus more on being thankful for things like the running water, the dishes themselves, and the food that made the dishes dirty.

Most times I follow this...but today...I am just NOT feeling it. *sigh

Damn dishes.
