Indulgent

I recently acquired a massive 1930s silk sheet from a lady who owns a vintage clothing shop in Southport- her stuff is top notch and she cares for her items and mends them as appropriate. She suggested it could be worn as a ‘piano shawl’ as it has silk tassels.

I’ve visited the shop physically in the past but follow her online Etsy shop and decided to treat myself for a recent birthday- this has to be one of my favourite purchases ever, it’s so soft I’m going to use it as a bedspread tonight. Time to start investigating silk wash!
