Straining on a leash

I bumped into Steve (off frame) and Jeremiah in the middle of Washington, as they were walking their cats, Bodega and Che (yes, as in Guevara).

Two cats on a leash draw quite a bit of attention and many people did a double take at their sight: "Wait! are these cats???" That being said, they were clearly exotic cats with beautiful markings.

I asked what it takes to get them to walk on a leash, all the while thinking that if I ever attempted this with our cat, I'd probably end up disfigured... "Gotta train them from the time they're kittens." There you have it.
