What a lovely pear
I know I am in danger of turning this into a blip solely about baking, but here I present the latest dish in the repertoire. Pear and chocolate pudding with a dark chocolate sauce. The vanilla and chocolate ice cream (not made by me) is not pictured. Chocolate overload?
The friends who walked me through the recipe and stopped me from making disastrous overuse of cocoa powder should be credited more than me for how good it tasted.
In other news, probably the worst day of weather I can remember in the UK for a long time, and that is saying something. Roll on Asia on Monday.
