Heron

A walk with our friends R&S along the Water of Leith today from Balerno to Slateford (extra). Between us we had three dogs and they all behaved well - including during the coffee and lunch stops in Juniper Green and Currie respectively. The walk goes under the City of Edinburgh bypass at one point and this is where I saw the heron. It was a good temperature for a walk and there was no wind. At Slateford you can catch the No44 bus back to Balerno which takes a lot less time than the walk. It was drizzling when we left Edinburgh to come home but it is lovely and sunny in Stirling.
