Fungi in Bagger Wood

Quite a fungi-hoard today, some were in the place I’d seen them the last time I visited while others were new.  I had a short walk into the wood on my way to the garden centre to buy some ericaceous compost.  I’m just about ready to plant up my new area of the garden as I spent a few hours this morning transferring soil into the bed.  So quite a successful day all in all.  I still need to finalise my choice of what to plant but I’ve got a fancy for Betula Jacquemontii but I have to think about the telephone wires that go overhead so it might not be appropriate.
