Wooden leadership

A tree in an Edinburgh park ... an increasingly rare sight in Edinburgh, well at least in Princes Street Gardens anyway, where they have started to fell 50 healthy mature trees to ease access for pushchairs ... to replaced by 22 ‘semi mature’ saplings!

There are not enough bad things I can say about the City of Edinburgh council. Perhaps one of the worst though is that they spent £23k per day last year on consultants, while there is not enough money to pay for social care in the city.

They will get their just desserts at the next local elections I suspect.
