Brujuni Segway

Today we visited Brijuni Island.  

We saw Zebras, Ostritches, an Elephant, a cool old Cadillac, lots of ill advised taxidermy and beautiful villas.  

We travelled by rental car, boat, a road train, and in MrsCyclops' case a Segway (pictured) - I pedalled a bike with CyclopsJnr in a trailer, which he loved).

My personal highlight was a Roman villa dating back to 100BC (see Extra) - the remains are beautiful and surprisingly large in scale.  Even by today's standards the property is huge.  The setting is simply stunning.  Those Romans weren't daft.
